This cake marks my Mom’s 62nd Birthday and my 2nd year of creating custom cakes. A Mocha choc. cake w/ raspberry preserves & tootsie roll fondant. I like to try something unique when it comes to our joint celebration…so this year I went whimsical and created this Fairy Cottage w/ three rooms each lit w/ a flower chandelier…a kitchen set for tea, a rustic mirror in the upper room and sweet pink curtains to hang in the bedroom. The best part of the construction process was working w/ my family to pull it off! :)
(I would like to mention that I saw the vine numbers somewhere online among the hundreds of fairy/garden cakes I looked at in order to come up w/ something unique…so credit goes to the lady/gentleman who created them!)
