Monkey flying a SpitFire 2D Sheet Cake for a 21st

I was handed this hand-sketched picture and told to do a 2D Sheet Cake! Lyall called his son Ajay ’My Minky Monkey" since he was a little boy and today Ajay is 21 and is a pilot. This was a tattoo drawn up for him. I have now converted Minky Da Monkey to CAKE!!! ♥
This Cake is a 14 inch square and weighed 10kg at least! Chocolate cake with truffle filling.

Thanks everyone! It was a challenge to make – I was asked to just to it plain, and it looked pretty easy at first but I thought it would have a better effect if I did it partly 2D and so I cut out the plane from the template but the rest is all hand modelled.
