My first Purse Cake was done yesterday <3 I added two bundles of gum paste Roses. Everything was done by hand and I am really excited about the results. The hardest part was the zipper… that took forever but I think I pulled it off ok. This was a 12" , 10" and 8 ". I was thrilled… but I handed the cake over to Mom to take to her office for the March Birthdays and she stepped out of the door and, hold your breath, dropped it! I was devastated! Has anyone else ever cried (sobbed) all day over a cake? So glad all was well and this was for my Mom’s Office Brithdays. Since the cake was still in the box, she set it up and let people eat the remains… ***SNIFF*** That’s what the last picture is… she’s a good Mom to tell em all what she did and then showed the pictures anyway. I figured I would share the whole story of this cake with the only community I know of that would GET IT… <3
