I am a student at Plymouth City College studying Level 3 in Patisserie and Confectionery. The course is pretty comprehensive and, until now, I’ve been pretty much self-taught. One thing I wanted to try my hand at was celebration cakes, so this is my first attempt. I’ve called it ‘hearts and flowers’ because that’s what I chose as the decorative theme. I liked the idea if a monochromatic scheme with just one accent of colour. I hope you like it!
