Baby’s head and hands are gum paste. Bonnet, dress, blanket and trim are MMF. Baby’s body is a chocolate cake, and she sits on a vanilla base cake. Really fun to make. A big favorite, for sure! I made my own molds from a 1980s baby doll (for the face and hands), and hand-painted the facial features with food coloring.
