I was approached to make this cake and was sent a picture of the characters and the details of who it was for. In my head I knew what I wanted to do, but was so unsure it’d turn out like I imagined!

The cake itself is an 8" 6 tier rainbow cake, so it’s quite tall and I airbrushed the blue colour on the cake and board – I love the depth you can get when using the airbrush. I the attached the clouds around the base and sides and sprayed with a coating of shimmer spray so it was lovely and sparkly.

Out of the models, I was most worried about the horse. I was worried I wouldn’t get the face shale right. For a first attempt modelling a horse,I am quite happy with it.

I love how colourful the cake is and has received lots of attention on my page xx I <3 cakey making at

You did a great job!!! My daughters had Rainbow Brite dolls! Don’t have the dolls anymore but I still have a Rainbow Brite plate that my daughter’s 3 year old daughter now uses!

Thank you so much and it’s so cute that your grand-daughter will grow to know this cute little character xxx
