Guitar cake

This was a grooms cake. I could not figure out how to make the strings so it didn’t have any. Anyone made one with strings? If so please be so kind and tell me what you used so I know for my next guitar cake :)

I used royal icing piped over a wire for my guitar cake. I saw one being made on Planet Cake and she used dental floss!
