7" vanilla cake with bc icing. Covered with fondant and fondant details. This is for a lady who lost her home and all of her favorite shoes, during Hurricane Irene. Her friend wanted a special birthday cake for her. One favorite pair of shoes which was lost, was a zebra stripped heel, with a teal bow. The ‘shoe’ was made with a Wilton cookie cutter, about 2 inches. Each Zebra stripe was hand cut and ‘glued’, into place. It was tedious to say the least, but well worth the effort for the final product. I am very satisfied with how this cake turned out.
