Hi, this is my first wedding cake for about 20 years.
A work colleague anounced he was getting married and I offered to make the cake as a gift.
He said he’d get back to me after discussing it with his intended.
About two weeks before the wedding they got back to me and accepted my offer.
The base is two fruit cakes and the top tier is chocolate sponge. Covered with marzipan and fondant icing, decorated with gum paste flowers.
