I was asked to come up with a replica cookie by a couture bridal boutique in my home own of Bowral, NSW Australia.
The requested design is called ’Angelique".
I purchased a wedding dress cutter similar to the actual dress, but changed the bodice, by cutting it straight and wider. I simply bent it up, so as to avoid a full length cut.
I used gingerbread as the cookie base, as it lasts longer (3 months) – giving greater flexibility to the designer in relation to handing them out.
The dress has a fondant base with hand made fondant bow. The bodice is embossed with couture lace from the designer.
I then used a lustre to add a final bit of shimmer.
gorgeous!
