Just before Christmas we said Bon Voyage to our work colleague Sarah. Sarah and her boyfriend are off travelling, first to Thailand, where they will be volunteering at Rescue Paws. Its a charity providing animal welfare to street dogs. After that they will travelling to Australia! A proper adventure lasting around 3 years. 

Sarah asked me to create a cake for her leaving party and left me with the design. So here it is. A two tier cake with handmade models, Sarah and Joe relaxing on the beach by the bar, with a parasol that actually spins in the breeze! featuring two pups on the mend after having treatment at Rescue Paws. and of course a kangaroo and koala bear! Also edible passports. Victoria sponge cake and the top tier was chocolate. Sarah is dairy intolerant so i made her a separate chocolate cake so she did nt miss out!.
