I made this for my daughters 18th birthday. She had hinted to me for the whole year this is what she wanted. The castle is ginger bread and the cake is the rock cliffs around it. I also wanted it to light up so I used battery operated LED lights…used crushed root beer barrel candies and melted them for the windows. That way it gave it a more orange-y subtle glow. Took me a week, sun up to sun down! She was very excited and happy so it was well worth it :) The cake is on a 2 ft x 4 ft board…it is quite massive!
