My ispiration of the Antonio Canova’ s collaboration, hosted by Catia Guida, is one of his last pieces named “The Creation of Adam” (1821-1822). In “the creation of Adam”, a hovering, electrically radiant God places his hand on the forehand of a standing Adam whose nude, muscular body, rendered in profile, recoils as if from the shock of the life force suddenly animating him. For the performance of this piece, I used sculpting technique with modelling chocolate and modelling paste.
