Over the years I have donated many cake gift certificates for event auctions. I really think this is the last one going out the door. Lemon cake filled with lemon curd, iced in Italian meringue icing and topped with fresh daisies, whole lemons and candied lemon slices.

Thanks Sandra. 98 degrees here today so not easy smoothing buttercream, but it does look kind of refreshing.
