My biggest till date!!! A Majestic 7 tier cake with uncountable, handmade flowers , leaves and buds.
This was a huge, huge learning experience for me. Right from sketching, planning, making, packing, logistics and assembling at the venue, everything was a learning experience, which i thoroughly enjoyed.
There were huge challenges that I faced, because I am a homebaker. One of the biggest challenge was working in the limited space that I have, when it was continously raining cats and dogs in Mumbai. It rained non stop during the 8 days of production. I really thank God, that I use chocolate flower paste, which is a dream paste to work with in this weather, super easy and quick to dry.
We transported the cake to the venue in 3 parts. I had majorly done the flower arrangement at home, which took me more than 4 hours. Stacking, finishing touches and assembling the remaining flowers at the venue took another 2.5 hours. But once it was up, it was sooooo massive and so beautiful and dreamy.
