Our dear friend Jon has sold his business and retired after 45 year. His birthday happened at the same time so this is really a birthday cake as well as retirement. His gift from friends was a wonderful metal family clan plaque which I copied for the topper. The gumpaste blackberries are those I posted a few weeks ago.
