As soon as I saw the cake by the Pretty Sugar Cake Company on Pinterest I knew it was the one I wanted to make for my daughter in law. She loves yellow and this is so delicate and spring like.

The cake is vanilla Madeira, filled with lemon buttercream and seedless raspberry jam. It’s covered in milk/plain chocolate ganache and fondant. The bees are made out of fondant.

Such a pretty design and I was really pleased how it turned out.
