This was done in may 2012 and it was my very first attempt in cake decorating, to celebrate my daughther’s birthday, 9 years old.
The idea came out after a nice 5 days trip in Germany, in the Romantische strasse…an amazing part of Germany with a lot of castles, and one of them, the famous Ludwing Neuschwanstein Castle inspired me this cake.
Alice was astonished and the two days working around this cake made me finally satisfied for the hard job.

the entire castle was ‘built’ using different flavours of cake, as the idea was not…..to annoy while eating the different parts of it. So everyone wanted to taste…..a lot of slices.
