This Cake was made after the beautiful painting by Yongsun Kim, ”The Hand of God”, pictured. I received permission from the artist to share, which was pretty exciting for me. He loved the cake, and I hope it blesses you too.
I used a printed image of the painting, them painted over it to brighten it and offer dimension. I used the three tier fault line cake method for stacking, and palette knife painted the water with shades of blue and ivory. I topped it off with an isomalt sail to add the splash.
