This cake features layers upon layers of fondant, with torn fondant leaves and roses placed within. The design was inspired by Jasmine Rae of Jasmine Rae Cakes – one of my favorite cake artists.
Wrapping this cake in ruffles was a wonderful process. There is so much flexibility in this design, and anything that might be considered a mistake usually becomes something special.
The natural color palette lends itself to the wispy nature of this cake.
So glad this is a dummy so I get to keep it! ❤️
