Happy New Year to you all…. here’s my first (dummy) cake of 2020, which I enjoyed creating in my own time. For this hand-painted design, I used Satin Ice fondant, Simi Isomalt, CakeDeco wafer paper, AmeriColor airbrush food colors, TMP powders & non edible gold leaf.
I’m sorry that I haven’t been here much in 2019 to support you but over the last two years or so, I’ve been battling some bad depression and some health issues, which aren’t over yet. My depression has been a silent battle which nobody knows about, until now I guess, and it’s been with me since 2006/2007, but it can be up and down at times, really bad or a little bad, so that’s why I haven’t been doing much in the sugar world and had struggles adhering to collabs, and orders etc. I apologize again to my friends for having to leave collabs for personal reasons. Anyway, I’m going to try and stick around this year, and apply my skills to some new cakes and cookies, etc, and I hope that you’ll understand if/when I’m not around, it’s because I’ve got some issues going on.
