Here is my Baby Yoda Cake with a christmas twist. The moment that face was exposed to us on the first episode of mandalorian I turned to my boyfriend and said “I need to do a baby Yoda cake”, he said “No, you need to do a baby yoda cake with a christmas hat” and here he is 😂
His body is all cake and covered in sugar paste with a mix of modelling chocolate. His head is modelling chocolate with isomalt for eyes, which I had to paint on edible paper and put behind them, however the pic doesnt really show this. Isomalt is new to me so it took a lot of attempts to even get it ok 😅 I painted his ears, eyes and such, using edible food colour and alcohol – basically trial and error. Painting is hard 😬 all in all it was a fun cake to do!
