Hi everyone, my sugar friends!
Today my beloved granddaughter Sara turns 5.
She’s totally in love with Frozen movie.
So I made this Frozen cake for my princess, hoping she’ll like it.
Top tier is chocolate cake with Mascarpone cheese+Nutella+cream filling, coated with buttercream and fondant.
Bottom tier is dummy.
To give a glass effect to the castle, I developed my new method to work with gelatin (tutorial here: http://cakesdecor.com/entries/5423-how-to-get-an-isomalt-effect-from-gelatin-sheets)
I’m pretty satisfied with the result.
