Hi everyone, here is my piece for the wonderful Gone But Not Forgotten Cake collaboration.

I’m a self-taught cake maker with no training in art or design – I simply love pushing the boundaries and learn something new with every cake I make. I do love a challenge and so the more complex the design, the more excited I am about seeing it take shape. I find real joy in making sculpted and carved animals and people!
David Bowie has been my hero for over 35 years, so much so that I even named my business after his song Space Oddity (mine is called Cake Oddity) and I usually play his music to help me focus on my cakes.
I have wanted to make a model of him for some time and so joining this collaboration has given me the fantastic opportunity to pay my respects to the most wonderful, talented artist that is David Bowie.
