I loved creating this Italian inspired wedding cake tutorial for Cakes and Sugarcraft magazine after a recent trip to Italy. I love Mediterranean pottery and tiles and wanted to include them in this cake design – the tiles are hand stamped using a custom made stamp which gives a really lovely textured effect! The lemons and flowers are all painted using cocoa butter paint. Italy is such an inspirational country – I cant wait to visit again soon!!
