Behind every artwork of Hang, there is a story! And Its beauty depends on the way you feel. Today I want to share my idea with everyone. I hope you will kindly give me some feedbacks!
“The Humming bird and The Sunflower grew up on the rock” is an artwork that I give to one of my friends as a gift. Humming presents her name and sunflower is her favourite flower. Now the dream she wants to achieve is built up from her effort.
The Sunflower is naturally grown in the arid soil; interestingly, the more the sun shines, the stronger the Sunflower grows. However, only my Sunflower is in a small offshore piece of rock. It’s also where fragile Humming devote themselves day and night to search for food and nest. Despite the dangers, Humming still multiply as well as remain faithful to their mates.
I would like to give this artwork for all Vietnamese women who complete their roles in both family and society. Some of you like the sunflowers while others like the Humming and yet both have vitality and strong faith in life.
I wish for my girl and all of us always be beautiful and happy in our own ways. Though there are prejudgment and social pressure outside, don’t forget to take care of yourself everyday, my dear sisters!
