IT- La mia fonte d’ispirazione è “Strawberry Whispers”, uno dei fantastici dipinti della serie “Candy Escape” dell’artista italo-canadese Camilla D’Errico. La delicatezza dei toni e delle forme, in contrasto con i colori dell’arcobaleno che armonicamente colano e si sciolgono, mi ha affascinato a tal punto che ho voluto trasformarlo in zucchero. Così ispirata ho modellato e dipinto a mano la mia Strawberry Whispers dando forma e spessore ad ogni dettaglio, creando l’illusione della profondità e lasciando che il soggetto emerga dal fondo.

EN- My source of inspiration is “Strawberry Whispers”, one of the amazing paintings from the series “Candy Escape” of the Italian-Canadian artist Camilla D’Errico. The delicacy of tones and shapes, in contrast with the rainbow colours that harmoniously drip and melt, fascinated me so much that I wanted to turn it into sugar. So inspired I modeled and painted by hands my Strawberry Whispers giving shapes and thickness to every detail in order to create the illusion of depth by and let the subject come out from the bottom.
