I was looking through my drawers and found a pack of old pictures of cakes I made years ago when I was making just buttercream cakes. This is one of them, will be posting more!
This cake was for my youngest grandson when he turned 16. He didnt know what he wanted so he asked me to make anything. I was stumped. I finally came up with making a driver’s license since he can now apply for one. I went into the state’s web site to get a picture of the driver’s license. I was able to duplicate it exactly. The cake is a 9×12 sheet iced in butter cream. The license was made with Wilton’s sugar sheets and the writing with edible markers. He loved it.
