“The Golden Grand Elephant” It’s all CAKE!!
My inspiration for the “Beautiful Sri Lanka” collaboration is the sacred royal “Raja Atha”, also known as “Maligawa Raja”, who was a Sri Lankan Tusker Elephant who belonged to the Sri Dalada Maligawa, Kandy. I chose this piece “Raja Atha” in “Gold” because of his Grandeur & Shine that he emitted in his lifetime, where he participated at the annual Esala procession in Kandy for around 50 years and was also the sacred casket bearer of the final Randoli perehera for many years. I have made this piece in cake which is my smallest creation till date using various techniques. Thank you for looking.
