Il tempo prezioso
Il tumore alle ovaie è un male silenzioso, una delle forme tumorali più aggressive, solo riuscire a riconoscere i primi segnali della malattia può portare a una diagnosi tempestiva e quindi riuscire a curare il tumore quando è ancora a uno stadio iniziale.
Dopo aver letto diverse testimonianze di donne a cui è stato asportato un ovaio a causa di un tumore, mi sono resa conto che la tempestività di diagnosi è importante , inoltre la paura di non riuscire a procreare dopo l’intervento per una donna è devastante!
Con il mio lavoro ho voluto rappresentare la maternità come vittoria , la roccia rappresenta il male oscuro e difficile da combattere, il fiore di azalea come simbolo della ricerca, la clessidra il tempo che passa portando con se anche la speranza di riuscire a sconfiggerlo e in cima la vittoria contro il male, rappresentata con l’amore puro e prezioso della maternità.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:
The precious time
Ovarian cancer is a silent evil, one of the most aggressive cancer forms, only being able to recognize the first signs of the disease can lead to a timely diagnosis and therefore be able to cure the tumor when it is still at an early stage.
After reading several testimonies of women who have had an ovary removed because of a tumor, I realized that the timely diagnosis is important, moreover the fear of not being able to procreate after surgery for a woman is devastating!
With my work I wanted to represent motherhood as a victory, the rock represents the dark evil and difficult to fight, the azalea flower as a symbol of research, the hourglass passing time carrying with it even the hope of being able to defeat it and in top the victory against evil, represented with the pure and precious love of motherhood.

El tiempo precioso
El cáncer de ovario es un mal silencioso, una de las formas de cáncer más agresivas, solo el hecho de poder reconocer los primeros signos de la enfermedad puede conducir a un diagnóstico oportuno y, por lo tanto, ser capaz de curar el tumor cuando aún se encuentra en una etapa temprana.
Después de leer varios testimonios de mujeres a las que se les extirpó un ovario debido a un tumor, me di cuenta de que el diagnóstico oportuno es importante; además, ¡el miedo a no procrear después de la cirugía para una mujer es devastador!
Con mi trabajo quería representar a la maternidad como una victoria, el rock representa el mal oscuro y difícil de combatir, la flor de azalea como símbolo de investigación, el reloj de arena pasa el tiempo llevando consigo incluso la esperanza de poder vencerlo y en encabeza la victoria contra el mal, representada con el amor puro y precioso de la maternidad.
