Absolutely over the moon to have won not only a Gold Award for my sugar flower display but Best in Class too at Salon Culinaire!!! Still can’t quite believe it!!!
I wanted a display that would capture the feel of Autumn with texture and colours whilst taking inspiration from the work of the Dutch Masters.
I used a Café au lait Dahlia, Pom Pom Chrysanthemums, Hops, Copper Beech and Hydrangea and balanced the piece with two windfall apples and apple leaf on a mahogany effect board.
