As I was browsing facebook, I came across this post from a cake artist from the north. She became known for her talent in making sugar flowers. It’s so cold and humid where she lives and creating sugar flowers were quite a daunting task. It was so difficult for her to dry her flowers. So she decided to come up with a recipe that can withstand humid weather conditions and can withstand even the harshest physical abuse that regular gumpaste flowers are weak against. Here comes her discovery, silk-like edible flowers. I decided to enroll in her class since it rains so often here in our country.
