A 21st birthday cake for an electrician. The young man lives in Dublin so i modelled him as a Leprachaun to give the cake a nod to Ireland. The models are all made from modelling paste, as are the base and the top wood grain detail. This being a cut out circle then embossed with a woodgrain sheet. The woodgrain was then airbrushed yellow, then light brown, before detailing with dust colourl. The cable itself was achieved using a sugarcraft extruder. The letters are Royal Icing run outs, these were also detailed with dust colours in the colours of the Irish flag.
