I am a newbie to cake decorating. I’ve been baking a long time but have started decorating cakes. This is the first picture I’m posting as I’m in awe of all your work and also feel that mine are all very simple in comparison.
But I’m learning from all of you.

This is a five layer cake in two shades of pink. I alternated the pinks. This is a butter cake with raspberry purée, sandwiched with buttercream and a raspberry compote.
