I had the opportunity to participate in the CPC – ‘Kissing Frogs’ Cake Collaboration & it was a pleasure creating this beautiful Royal Wedding Cake in honour of HRH Prince Harry and Miss Meghan Markle’s wedding ceremony on 19.05.2018
I am  originally from India and a Resident of UK. An Interior Designer by profession, I stumbled upon baking quite by accident around 3 yrs ago when I successfully started a humble home  venture by the name : MACARONS MERINGUES & MORE ,  baking French Macarons.  From there on I got really interested in Cakes and  Cake Decorating and am still learning and developing my skills .
Though I have had many opportunities to create wedding cakes for clients, I always wanted to create an all white wedding cake – simply because I love everything white and it’s a colour and concept synonymous with Traditional  Royal Wedding  Cakes.  It’s the most elegant and classic colour yet the most difficult to work with as any faults or flaws could really stand out !
I chose to keep decorations to the minimum keeping in mind the modern outlook and personalities of Prince Harry & Miss Meghan Markle.
Having almost opted out of the collaboration due to time restraints , i am glad I overcame the hurdles and met the deadline . I do hope I  have done justice to the subject and thank you all for viewing my piece. ❤
