Title : Cheers Couple with Morden Purple Wedding Cake.

Inspiration : My mentor has been a big inspiration and has constantly motivated to achieve to the highest of my capability. This piece of mine is inspired from the various techniques I’ve learned from him. And designed full wedding cake with edible flowers n toppers by own to surprise him.

Techniques Used :

1) Hand Sculpting ( Edible Toppers) by homemade gumpaste and coloured by edible paste colour + vodka.

2) Hand sculpting couple’s hats by homemade chocolate modelling.

3) Crackling Effect / Wooden Texture by homemade fondant and Waffer papers.

4) Handmade edible Lace for bridal ’s Reeth.

5) Handmade edible Sugar Flowers ( Open Peonies + leaves, Roses + leaves, Rose Buds, Dogwood, Aster, Hydergena, Berries, Silver Dollar, Sweet Pea). Used edible paste colours and Edible dust colours

6) Water Effect on flowers and leaves by edible glue.

7) Airbrush on crackling effect to try more real look for wooden texture by edible paste colour + vodka.

8) Marble Effect on 4 pillars, couple’s stage for attractive look and even on Cake board base to look little attractive and non reflective.
And for more attractive marble pillars did golden lines.

9) Geometric Method done on marble effect. Used Octagon shape because I thought to match my base tier.

10) Paneling Method to cover wedding cake’s each tier by homemade fondant.

11) Hand painted Humming birds by edible super gold dust colour + vodka. Try to make look that humming birds are eating berries.

12) Cake Board Base edges covered by edible tape.

13) Bridal Dress frills done by Ruffles method. That made by homemade gumpaste.

14) Edible Flowers, Leaves and Berries given impressions on tiers. For glaze applied edible glaze on it.

15) Cake board (wood) I cut and shaped in octagon.

16) Steamed flowers, leaves and each tier for glaze effect.
