My inspiration: The butterfly rash. On this chocolate sugar cookie, I piped the Royal Icing, let it set, hand painted it, added some Royal icing transfer flowers, and created a pair of wafer paper wings to add in the end. Final touches were added using edible marker on the white background. I’m happy to be part of the ‘World Lupus Day Sugarart Collaboration’ that brings awareness to individuals affected by Lupus in one way or another. A debilitating disease that I didn’t know anything about until I was invited to participate. Huge thanks to Emilia Calvo & Zelda Scafidas for hosting this worldwide collaboration <3
