Here the detailed pics from the great feature at Masterofcakesamsun with the incredible Tuba Geçkil. What can I say? I made loads of posts live by instagram and I think the pics say it all. I’ts been an absolute pleasure working with Tuba and her team and great organization from Master of Cake. We planned this installation since december but actually I started workin on my lifesize version of the beauty on tuesday afternoon preparing the structure, etc. the so my main character took about 25-30 h of my work to complete. I must mention I had helpers to stretch the fondant for the dress at the sheeter but otherwise I made all alone by hand and without moulds. Though some features of my character could be improved with more time you know how is working life at a show, how difficult is to get concentration and the rush as not all goes as we calculated. Even with that I really enjoyed to be involved in this feature. My beauty is (as ever) handpainted and airbrushed with Magic Colours. Apart from the beauty I contributed at the installation painting some of the background, but I must mention that the main setting, planification and production of the feature is made by Tuba with the help of her cheerful team. Tuba’s version of the beast is just outstanding. Couldn’t say how many kg of cake, chocolate, icing and fondant were used to create this but… you can guess its been crazy.
