Here is Alfie’s fifth birthday cake! Both my boys LOVE playing Mario Bros games and when I made Finlay’s cake a few weeks ago Alfie decided he wanted a Mario cake. This one is inspired by a design by Krazy Kool Cakes & Designs by Laura E. Varela-Wong, though mine isn’t a patch on theirs! Everything is handmade and I reckon the whole thing probably took me twenty hours, I seriously don’t know where the time went! Figures take so long to make, apart from King Bomb who I quickly made around 2.30am on the day of the party 🙊 The bottom tier was ‘Heavenly Hazelnut’ with chocolate ganache and the top tier was ‘Strawberry Milkshake’ with white chocolate ganache. The blocks are RKT! Alfie was excited to show his cake off to his friends at his party
