This cake was for a wonderful couple who chose to have an Art Deco theme to their wedding.
The brief for the cake was that it had to include things of interest of both of them, and so I set about trying to replicate the Brides amazing wedding gown and and her bedroom where she would be getting ready. In the cupboard I placed a small picture of the couple and some cookery books as the groom was very much into cooking and baking! I also included a small posy that the bridesmaids were going to have. The cake layers were in lemon, chocolate and carrot cake.
To top it off I made a bow out of the tartan fabric that the groom was going to wear in his kilt and placed it at the bottom of the cake.
