This cake was commissioned to celebrate the first birthday of a boutique pub near me whose emblem is the Heron. Incidentally the grey Heron is also a symbol of Somerset where I live.

He is sculpted from chocolate cake and rice crispie treats and stood at a metre tall as he was made life size. I’ve included a photo of Us together so you can see his scale!
