The last time I touched a paint brush was in grade seven, and all I drew was ‘mountains and trees’ in the distance.

But when I was challenged to do a palette knife technique cake, I took up painting again. I first painted on paper (which itself was unbelievable for me) and then did the cake.

I am so happy with the outcome. It went beyond my wildest dreams.
