So, here’s the cake for my first official “unsatisfied” customer ;) Honestly, I knew the lady who ordered this was going to be “difficult” (to put it nicely) from the get-go, but decided to give it a go anyhow! I matched the cake and cupcakes to the birthday girl’s invitation and shirt for the big day but when I delivered everything, Mom’s comment was, “I’m just waiting on that yellow to grow on me.” and “I told you I was a perfectionist!” as well as, “I’m supposed to get how many servings from this cake?” Ah well, you can’t please ’em all! I was pleased with my work! :o) Strawberry and fluffy vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling, covered in vanilla buttercream with fondant details. Cupcakes were chocolate with vanilla buttercream and custom fondant toppers.
