I was asked to make a a 30th birthday cake with lots of elements for a young gentlemans birthday party. His mum requested the cake be filled with all the things he loves. His girlfriend,Dogs and music..plus his job,he builds swimming pools.
The cake is a lemon sponge bottom layer lemon curd,lemon preserve and soaked in lemon syrup. Second layer lemon curd,lemon preserve ,lemon syrup,zest lemon butter cream.
Third layer, lemon syrup,preserve and lemon butter cream.
Last layer curd,preserve and syrup.
Wrapped in dark chocolate ganache.
All homemade.
