The theme of my wedding cake is “THE GREAT GATSBY”.
This cake could be made possible only due to expert guidance of “PRIYANKA ARORA NAYAK” of "POLKA DOTS " fame.
This cake portrays the Jazz age of 1930’s with stylish clothings,colors and stones.It was a rebellious and liberating time for women.They experimented with frills and feathers and bold hues and colors.The feathers were everywhere from Headress to skirts to masks.The stone clad headress was The cherry on top.Men, however,stuck to Monochrome hues.Hence,the bottom tier is Black(pun).
The effort was to portray the fashion wave which started in early 1930’s and still prevails in our society in bits and pieces.
