I had the immense honour of decorating a cake for our niece and her wonderful new hubby. It was the Most beautiful country wedding! Such a gorgeous setting, so relaxed with fun laughter and lots of love.
I made freeform classic roses and english roses a peony bud, some wee gold filler buds and I made freeform ruffles the same way i make petals and veined them all too.
Bride loved the cake even though my hubby didn’t lol Thank goodness!
Will experiment more with this ruffle work as i really enjoyed it even though it is very time consuming.
