I made this cake for one of my lovely neighbors; they look out for us and vice versa, but they don’t like alot of fondant. With a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, this cake is divine. Covered with Satin Ice fondant and decorated with Wafer Paper and some white sprinkles. The top tier was made to look rustic and worn, by covering the damp fondant randomly with pieces of wafer paper and then tearing the wafer paper off afterwards :) The bottom tier was painted with gold which was then given a quick ‘wash’. The Christmas ornament, ‘snow’, Christmas trees, star, deer, holly leaves, berries and Poinsettia are all made with Wafer Paper. Merry Christmas! xx
