Indian weddings are known for their grandeur, style, tradition and magnificence. In my piece I have depicted the Indian bride who traditionally wears a red sari or lehenga since red is considered to be an auspicious colour. An Indian wedding without the colour red is hard to imagine. Gold jewellery forms an essential part of every bridal trousseau in India. The make up of an Indian bride is regarded to be incomplete without her solah shringar (16 ornaments) which consists of all the jewellery pieces considered essential to be adorned by the bride. I hope you like my attempt at portraying the Indian bride. https://www.facebook.com/Incredible-India-An-International-Cake-Collaboration-1923135621261644/?refid=18
