Here are the photos of my piece for the Sugar Skulls collab to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos! The inspiration for my piece was the Day Of The Dead Cat El Gato Painting by Pristine Cartera Turkus. My buddy over at Primacristina Theme Cakes gave me the idea to display the cake on an easel, and I’m so happy it worked out! The board was handpainted on fondant and the Cat is actually chocolate cake (I cut a slice to prove it 😆). I really enjoyed working on this and so pleased with the end product. I hope you like it too!
