Choosing the dress inspiration for this fashion collaboration was incredibly difficult for me! I wanted to find a wedding dress in the new nude sheer trend but didn’t want an overall pattern. I wanted to find dress that had texture and movement. Finally I found it and was so excited to experiment with new techniques especially using wafer paper to create the sheer illusion over nude colored fondant.
My goal was to interpret the dress so that you could certainly identify it but also to do a loose interpretation so that you can see that it is inspired by but not an exact replica.
I could do 1000s of cakes inspired by fashion but choosing one was very hard! I hope you’ll think I chose correctly.
